How to wipe BlackBerry data

Here at PCMag we are always trying new products. When we finished, we have that - suspiran - send it back. Even this charming BlackBerry Torch 9800 (pictured here) have to Research in Motion. However, I can just pack it and send it to RIM - has all my data and settings. What I do is destroy your phone. This means killing the application and the data personal and even delete my files stored on the media card if I choose.

Incidentally this method, has remained fairly consistent in the latest models of the BlackBerry. On the torch, select "Options", and then search for "Security". There you will find an option to "Wipe security". By default, your email, contacts, and user applications are pre-selected. The option card media, however, is not.If wish you, you can connect the BlackBerry to your PC and open the folder media card as you would any other medium extraíble.Una time that has passed all best, you should feel free to select for deletion, media card as well.

Before you can delete the phone, however, you have to type in "Mora" into the field next to the button scan data. Here you see the message quite desperate: "erasing Information... Warning: do not throw the battery until the end of borrado.Esto is followed by a"Wiping"progress bar .Esto may take a few minutes, keep busy with another task until it becomes."
