Windows 7 phone is really good

@ dheady @...
Android is "free".

Technically, Yes, the operating system is free. However, there are a variety of features that are not included with Android but are included in fees of as an OEM manufacturer would pay for WP7. Audio/video codecs, exchange integration, desktop features are examples. Other applications that you see on phones more Android as GMail, Google Maps and YouTube clients are not part of the operating system and you have their license from Google. So yes, even if a device manufacturer might release an Android device without support files MP3 or H264, Exchange and without YouTube, GMail, or Google Maps clients, no major device manufacturers are. They are all pay Google, MS and other license different bits of the périphérique.Maintenant features MS claims that all license fees add up to more than what an OEM manufacturer would pay for licensed WP7 and they may or may not be right. The point that it is dishonest to pretend that managers of most of the Android devices do nothing pay for software.

Free iOS, um, non.iOS cost a ton of money to write and maintenir.Évidemment Apple, they are a silver tone more but no internally developed software is always free.
