ZeroCool2u August 30, 2009 12:16 PM Wow thats actually pretty sweet. Thanx
thehockeygod August 31, 2009 11:17 AM If you don't want to give your email address to the recipient, you can use one of several websites like http://www.textsendr.com that do the same thing.
baronjackson September 4, 2009 12:47 PM Too bad Teleflip went away. Teleflip allowed you to just send the number@teleflip.com and it will automatically route the e-mail to the appropriate carrier. That way you didn't have to remember or know what carrier each number belonged to.
DKODKO October 26, 2009 11:49 PM What about US Cellular?
jjpendleton November 2, 2009 3:44 PM Yes, what about US Cellular? I have people that have that and I would like to text them also.
Kornydave1955 November 2, 2009 4:26 PM I found that AT&T .txt doesn't always work... It seems to work better as SMS if you use HTML: [Phone Number]@mms.att.net
supergranny November 2, 2009 5:03 PM Does the person you are texting still have to pay if they have unlimited texting?
oomschalk November 2, 2009 5:20 PM "but you won't have to [pay], and that's what counts, right?" A common egocentric all-about-me attitude. "I do what I do and screw the rest of you". What have we become? What a shame.
Bobbo12 November 2, 2009 7:03 PM US Cellular - [Phone Number]@email.uscc.net
sunnnny November 2, 2009 9:27 PM Hog heaven for telemarketers!
I believe solicitation via cell phone is still illegal correct? Let us hope so....
If free to the recipient I would not have a problem with this nor would other folks I'm sure.. Pretty cool stuff if used properly.......
But somehow there is an underlying price to be paid, either by sender or recipient.
Correct me if I'm wrong?
****Let's see how much spam tries to hit my puter' after posting this LOL!!
